PROFESSOR PARIK GOSWAMI Professor Goswami will discuss how textile is cross-fertilising other disciplines and getting fertilised by other disciplines in this era of multidisciplinary research. The richness of making our disciplinary boundaries porous will be discussed in this talk with some case studies from his research group.
MR SALEEM KADER Mr Saleem Kader, Managing Director of the Bombay Stores Group, will talk to the Society about how the business has evolved over the last 50 years – the 3 generations of family involved, the challenges faced and the influences of changing fashions and clientele on the business.
